I lead the Growth PM team at Zynga, where we are responsible for creating launch strategies and exploring/optimizing growth channels across Zynga’s entire porfolio. Zynga has historically been a pioneer in the growth space, creating a $7b+ business out of optimizing Facebook viral channels better and more aggressively than anybody else. While we’ve been slow to get to mobile, Zynga is committed to becoming a growth leader again.
Previously, I was the founding PM (and first employee) at Scopely, launching two consecutive #1 Top Free (US iOS Appstore) mobile games and growing another’s daily revenue by >20x in less than a month after taking it over. My career started at Playdom where I was the Growth PM on GDC 2010 game of the year Social City. We were able to generate 10M installs on Social City in less than a month, which led me to head up viral features for Playdom’s full portfolio before officially becoming a Mouseketeer (we got acquired by Disney for $763M).
When I’m not jotting down growth ideas for work, you can find me playing League of Legends at a modestly competitive level, basketball at a slightly less competitive level, and electric violin purely for fun.
